NOTES OF HFCYCLISTS MEETING
Tuesday 2 january 2007 , 7.15pm for 7.30pm in the Info Centre

GENERAL DISCUSSION
We had a wide ranging and fruitful discussion on cycling.

HOW TO EFFECT CHANGE ON CYCLE LANES
At our meeting of 7 November when Graeme Swinburne was present there was a clear wish on our part to have cycle lanes both better policed, and to change the regulations if possible to make them clearways during peak times at least.

John will send an email message to Graeme Swinburne, copied to Cllr Nick Botterill and Chris Bainbridge, requesting this, and also that cycle crossings be kept clear.

RIDES
Sunday 14 January, 9.40am

A very short one to a bird walk at the Leg of Mutton reservoir, Barnes. This meets at 10am at the entrance to the nature reserve, on a path off Lonsdale rd, opposite Ferry rd, near the Swedish school.

Our ride will leave at 9.40 am from Furnival Gardens. This is the green space along the riverside near Hammersmith Bridge. Between the Blue Anchor /Rrutland and the Dove.

The bird walk ends at 12 noon and we may ride on to a suitable hostelry.
