Don’t worry, cycling is great on a leisurely pace! On this page you can find a good overview of upcoming rides in London: http://lcc.org.uk/events . Most of them are leisure oriented and you can select your wishes on the left. We are the local group of the London Cycling Campaign (LCC.org.uk) which you can become a member of. Our next ride will be the Sunset Ride on the 17th of June, which will be not that long, and on a normal pace. With my heavy city bike I will not be going fast anyway! More information on the Sunset Ride will appear soon on the website. – Lynn
On the Ride London Freecycle on 1 August we will be leading a feeder ride into central London where there will be a traffic free street from Buckingham Palace to Tower bridge. Parents with young children come along on that ride.
I teach various courses on bicycle maintenance that are subsided for H&F residents. £5. Whats the best way to pass it on to the members of the group? the classes are half empty most of the time.
I am interested in joining. I would like to go on group rides occasionally but am not fast – 5mph? Do u have events for the elderly unfit?
